Making Ogio Bags LastSports Comments Off
|
Ogio bags include quite a lot of different options. The company makes all manner of bags, backpacks and totes. These are high-quality bags that should last you a long time. Remember, however, that you can easily destroy a bag by mistreating it. You can also hurt yourself by overloading bags or by carrying them improperly. Choose the right bag and it should last you many years. The wrong bag, however, cannot be made to fill a role for which it was not intended. It may also end up lasting a very short time, if you abuse it.
The Ogio bags that are intended as backpacks are sometimes seen much overloaded. This is not only bad for the bag; it’s bad for your back. Ogio makes very tough products, but get a bigger bag in preference to overloading a little one. There’s no reason that your backpack should be bulging at the seams. There are plenty of larger bags available from this manufacturer. Larger bags also distribute the weight over a wider area, which makes them easier to carry and easier on your back. If your backpack is straining, get a bigger one and carrying the load will be much easier.
Ogio bags that are designed as totes, on the other hand, can also be overloaded. It’s far easier, however, to overload a backpack, as your entire body is bearing the weight, as opposed to just your arm in the case of a tote or duffel bag. If you find yourself loading your tote up to the point that it’s misshapen and very heavy, get another. It’s actually easier to carry two heavy totes than one, as the weight balances out across your shoulders. Be sure that you’re using the right bag for the right job, and that you’re packing it right, as well.
Sharp objects can ruin Ogio bags, or any other bags, for that matter. Sharp objects don’t just mean knives or tools. Sharp book corners and other objects can ruin stitching. Ogio makes very tough bags, but putting too much weight on a narrow point, such as the corner of a book, can pierce anything. Load your bag properly. Be sure that everything sharp you put in your bag is covered and, of course, that you’re not carrying anything open and sharp on your back! If you use them sensibly, these bags will hold up for many years.
